This $1 coin was released to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the final issue of Commonwealth Pre-Decimal Pennies in 1964. The reverse design shows four coin images surrounding a 1964 penny. They are the 1911 penny the first date of Australian Pennies and portraits of King George V, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II.
The nearly two ounce silver coin is encapsulated housed in a brown presentation case accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity and a booklet outlining the history of Australian penny issues. A cardboard outer case with an embossed rendition of the coin's reverse design protects the issue. Perfect is available in plastic shrink wrap
