1986-1988 Australian Nugget Complete 12 Coin Gold Proof Set

This collection contains the first three years' of what became an annual release of proof gold sets by the Perth Mint.
The 1986-1988 12 coin set comprises a total of 5.55 ounces:

• $100 - One Ounce: Welcome Stranger, Poseidon & Pride of Australia Nugget
• $50 - Half Ounce: Hand of Faith, Bobby Dazzler & Welcome Nugget
• $25 - Quarter Ounce: Golden Eagle, Father's Day & Ruby Well Nugget
• $15 - Tenth Ounce: Little Hero, Golden Aussie & Jubilee Nugget
• A total of 1000 twelve coin gold proof sets were released. The coins were housed, individually encapsulated, in polished timber, hinged lid presentation case with an individually numbered gold plated plaque on the inside of the lid.
