This set continues the annual release by the Perth Mint of proof versions of Australia's One Ounce Gold, One Ounce Platinum and One Ounce Silver collector coins. The 1998 3 coin set comprises:

• $100 - Platinum One Ounce Koala on Fallen Log
• $1 - Silver One Ounce Two Kookaburras

The issue limit of 150 for the 1998 three coin 1oz Mixed Metal proof set was not reached with the mintage declared at 95 sets. The coins in the set are housed, individually encapsulated, in a jarrah timber presentation case and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. NUMBER 094/095
