2005 ANZAC 90th Anniversary 2 Coin Silver Set
The Australian silver version was not sold individually. It was released as part of an Australia/New Zealand coloured Silver Proof Pair commemorating the 90th anniversary of the first major military action fought by the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps during World War I at Gallipoli.
The two coins were housed in a replica Princess Mary gift box. The original boxes were presented to Australian and New Zealand forces in 1915. The coins are accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity illustrated with images from the era, all contained in an outer presentatrion box featuring a matching design. The issue limit of 15,000 coloured proof pairs was fully subscribed.
