This Kangaroo Dreaming recatangular 1oz pure silver one dollar produced by Perth Mint and designed by Darryl Bellotti portrays Australian Indigenous art representing the knowledge of the marloo hunter.

The reverse design was created by Darryl Bellotti, an indigenous artist of Yamatji and Nyoongar descent. The design was inspired by his boyhood memories of a hunting trip in north-western Australia. The kangaroo is surrounded by patterns of dots, symbolising the hunters journey, and circles, representing the places where they stopped.
Each coin is housed in an illustrated presentation pack which includes Darryl Bellotti's signature and his evocative description of hunting in the Australian bush. The pack incorporates a Certificate of Authenticity. The coins were struck on a mint-to-order basis with orders accepted until the announcement of the 2010 dolphin coin when production ended and the final mintage of 1,569 was announced.
