2016 50c 50th Ann. of Decimal Currency WMF Privy Mark Gold Plated UNC

Australia celebrates 50 years of decimal currency in 2016. To globally recognise this significant milestone the well known 50 cent coin with its original 1966 circular shape was gold plated for the World Money Fair (WMF) Berlin 2016 and given a 'WMF' privy mark. 

Combining the shape of the original 1966 50c circulating coin while featuring the edge profile and metal composition of the current 50c dodecagon coin this unique cupro-nickel, gold plated release brings together the old and the new.
