2018 Mint Set - WMF Berlin Exclusive Release
Featuring the special Armistice $1, this set was exclusively released at the 2018 World Money Fair in Berlin with a limited mintage of just 1250 sets.
To commemorate the 2018 centenary of the armistice between the Allies and Germany that essentially brought an end to the First World War the Royal Australian Mint have released the annual six coin uncirculated and proof year sets with a specially designed one dollar coin.
The coin is divided by a line that symbolises the Armistice itself with the bottom section representing the period of war that preceded the armistice with a pattern of ammunition cartridges. The top section represents the post war peace with a spray of poppies.
The 5¢ 10¢ 20¢ 50¢ $1 & $2 are struck to the mint's world class standards of quality.
