The Reserve Bank of Australia released the Next Generation 20 dollar polymer banknote into circulation on the 9th October 2019. Loads of new security features including a top to bottom clear window micro-printing and UV light activated fluorescent serial number.
As with the previously released 5 10 and 50 dollar issues the new 20 dollar will include an embossed tactile feature designed to assist the vision-impaired.
