2020 End of WWII 75th Anniversary $2 0.5g Gold
To commemorate 75 years since the end of World War II (WWII) The Perth Mint has released a series of gold and silver coins.
Each coin bears internationally recognised motifs of peace representing poignant tributes to the courage and sacrifice of those who fought in the name of freedom from tyranny.
The coin’s reverse features an olive branch and the year-dates 1945 and 2020. The inscription ‘END OF WORLD WAR II 75th ANNIVERSARY’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark are also included in the design.
