PNC 2019 Treaty of Versailles Overprint Set of 4
The Treaty of Versailles which established the conditions of peace after the First World War will enter its centenary in 2019. Among the 32 signatories of the treaty was the Prime Minister of Australia Billy Hughes.
This marked the first time that Australian officials had participated in the negotiation of an international treaty.
Each day at the Sydney Stamp and Coin Expo from 13-16th June 2019 Australia Post issued 200 overprinted (total of 800) individually numbered Treaty of Versailles PNC's featuring a daily post mark and the Treaty of Versailles al/bronze $1 coin.
